Detailed Description of the Data Product

A StarCatalogProduct contains the following elements that describe a sky patch and associated information required to reconstruct star spectra:

* **StarCatalog**: Star catalogue filename, associated with the area it covers on the sky
* **SedLibrary**: Library identifier, and data container to a the star SEDs templates used to produce star spectra
* **ReferenceFilterFile**: Data container with the filter throughput filename, used to renormalize the star templates to apparent flux. 
* **ReferenceColumnName**: Name of the column in the star catalogue, containing the apparent magnitude of the stars to simulate

The name of the release is given by the **DataSetRelease** element in **Header** section of the data product.

StarCatalog FITS format

The format of the input star catalogue is specified by the FITS format `sim.starCatalog 0.3 <https://gitlab.euclid-sgs.uk/ST-DM/ST_FitsDataModel/-/blob/9.2.0/ST_DM_FitsSchema/auxdir/ST_DM_FitsSchema/instances/fit/euc-sim.xml?ref_type=tags#L3>`_.
