Detailed description of the data product

Final merged catalog with photometric and morphological information. It shall contain object positions, total fluxes, colors and some object characterization parameters. This product is an output from the MER_CatalogAssembly PE.

This is the main output product from MER. This catalog is used by the PHZ, SIR, SHE and SPE PEs.

The main elements inside this product are:

  • FilterList: List of filters that were used produce the catalog (e.g., VIS, NIR_Y, NIR_J, NIR_H, DECAM_g, OMEGACAM_u).

  • TileIndex (optional): The MER tile index.

  • FieldIdList (optional): List of unique IDs identifying the Euclid Fields overlapping with the studied region.

  • DataStorage: Element that links to a FITS file containing the catalog dataset.

  • ProcessingSteps (optional): Information about the processing steps associated with the production of the final catalog.
