Detailed description of the data product¶
To compute convergence maps or for peak counting, an input catalogue collecting OU-SHE and OU-PHZ information is needed (defined in the Data Model as a FITS in the Data Model instances as le3.wl.2dmass.input.shearcatalog here ) with an associated catalogContainer (see catalogContainer here).
FITS Input Catalog¶
This FITS catalogue (coming from OU-SHE/OU-PHZ) is expected to contain the following columns:
SHE_KSB_UPDATED_RA: Right ascension (unit in degree) [D, float64]
SHE_KSB_UPDATED_DEC: Declination (unit in degree) [D, float64]
SHE_KSB_G1: first component of ellipticity [E, float32]
SHE_KSB_G2: second component of ellipticity [E, float32]
PHZ_MEDIAN: redshift point estimate produced by OU-PHZ [float32]
PHZ_KSB_CORRECTION: redshift point estimate correction produced by OU-PHZ [float32]
SHE_KSB_WEIGHT: shear weight for the galaxy [E, float32]
and with FITS keywords:
EXTNAME = “SOURCE_CATALOG” [StringKeyword]
