Detailed description of the data product¶
This product is an output from the MER Aperture Photometry and the MER Template-fitting Photometry Processing Elements. It contains the photometry measured by one of the two previous methods for a single band and instrument on all the detected objects.
The main elements inside this product are:
SpatialCoverage: The catalog spatial coverage.
SpectralCoverage: The catalog spectral coverage with a list of the filters that were used produce the catalog (e.g., VIS, NIR_Y, NIR_J, NIR_H).
TileIndex: The MER tile index.
PatchIdList (optional): The sky patch ids associated to the product.
ObservationIdList: List of unique IDs identifying the Euclid observations the were used to generate the product.
CalblockIdList (optional): The calibration block ids associated to the product.
ProcessingMode: The MER pipeline processing mode (WIDE or DEEP) used to generate the product.
ZeroPoints: The photometric reference zero points in magnitude units for each filter.
PhotometryMethod: Name of the photometry method used to produce the catalog (PSF-matched, PSF-fitting, Template-fitting or Other).
DataStorage: Element that links to a FITS file containing the catalog data set.
ProcessingSteps (optional): Information about the processing steps associated with the production of the catalog.
