Detailed description of the data product

PSF field parameters product, giving the telescope state for a given exposure. Parameterisation for this data model largely consists of a subset of those included in the she_psfcalibration data product, as it is limited to only those parameters which are expected to vary on an exposure-to-exposure time scale (or on a time scale less than calibration observation cadence). Finalised Format TBD.

Zernike Basis Coefficients

These coefficients are the weights for the she.psfLevel2CalibrationParameters.SheBasisZernikeModeParams to find the best fit Zernike parameters from the array of Zernike modes at different roll angle and solar-aspect angle using the roll angle and solar-aspect angle of the field observation.

Zernike Mode Parameters

The Zernike mode parameters describe the wavefront errors as a set of orthoganol functions that change in radial and azimuthal degree. For field fitting, many parameters are derived from the solar-aspect and roll angle using the Level 2 calibration product, but others that are strongly linked to focus are fitted for. The coefficients are a combination of the modes that are related to different optical effects and polynomial functions that describe the variation across the field-of-view.
