Detailed description of the data product

To compute convergence maps or for peak counting, an input catalog from CAT-CL is needed (defined in the Data Model instances as le3.wl.2dmass.input.clustercatalog here) with an associated spatial footprint (see catalogContainer here).

FITS Input Catalog

The fits catalog (coming from CAT-CL) is expected to contain the following columns in the extension with EXTNAME = CLUSTER_CATALOG:

  1. ID: Identifier number of the detected cluster [int64]

  2. RA: Right ascension (J2000) (unit in degree) [float32]

  3. DEC: Declination (J2000) (unit in degree) [float32]

  4. Z: Redshift estimate of the cluster [float32]

  5. RADIUS: Angular radius associated to the detected cluster (unit in arcmin) [float32]

  6. RICHNESS: Absolute richness estimator of the detected cluster [float32]

Warning

This catalog is defined here in the absence of the definition of the cluster catalog produced by CAT-CL. Should be removed ultimately.
